Hahaha, as Shark fans if we survived last year, we can survive anything!

We should be leading the charge to try and uncover who else is cheating, lord knows we won't be climbing up the ladder with on field efforts.

This has good and bad implications on the Sharks.

Good that we could pick up some of the Storm players in a sell out.

That is unless some of them aren't suspended or going to the clinker.

Sharks could also pick up some of their talented Toyota Cup players or their Flegg side which has some talent in them.

But this could be very bad for the Sharks.

After this an independent commission could be fast tracked and one of the first items of discussion will be the salary cap.

They could recommend raising it quite dramatically or allow huge 3rd party agreements which would favor Clubs with wealthy sponsor connections (not us) or worst of all they may scrap the salary cap altogether in which the Sharks might as well fold up their tent.

Believe me this will be the biggest issue under review when a commission gets set up.

We badly need to get financial and fast!

Incorrect incorrect. What has happened to the Storm, although sad for rugby league is fantastic for the sharks if for no other reason that it gets the heat of us for a while.

The salary cap will be increased based on the new television deal. The amount of the new television deal is based on a number of clubs and a number of games being played each weekend. So why would the league dramatically increase the salary cap or have no cap to effectively kill a couple of clubs meaning less games each weekend. Wont happen.

The Storm also broke the salary cap by $200K when they won the premiership back in 1999. So how premierships have they won by playing by the rules?
