I think it only fair the MCG host the GF the year after Cam retires. It just feels right.

Part of the deal is to rename the JJ Giltinan Shield to the Cam Shield and the Churchill medal to the Smith Medal and the Provan/Summons Trophy to the Smith/Sampson Trophy. He will want a cut of the ticket sales as part of a Cam Smith testimonial game
On second thoughts, keep this super spreader event in the northern states or NZ.I don't have a problem with this.
QLD got all 3 origin games. Melbourne lost their origin game. And money wise it's daylight between the revenue that is possible if Melbourne hosted it versus Brisbane. That said, it's unlikely any NSW people will be able to attend the game, so not sure what a turnout Victorian's would provide.
Smith/Sampson made me spit my coffee... Thanks matePart of the deal is to rename the JJ Giltinan Shield to the Cam Shield and the Churchill medal to the Smith Medal and the Provan/Summons Trophy to the Smith/Sampson Trophy.
He's not an actual fan, he just rides the good moment and fks off when things aren't so good
If I had to exhibit what your textbook Bronco fan looks like, he'd be it
And they call us smug.QLD won't have delta under control.
Storm should be allowed to win the premiership at home.
I already said I don't care, can't you read?Penrith won't be there, what do you care.
How appropriate that Melbourne would be gifted yet another premiership at the MCG. The Purple blowjob is complete.
Sorry the spiritual home of Rugby League is in Sydney, it should be played there all the time not go the highest bidder. If nothing else, this should show the NRL the interest there is for the GF to be on the road every 2nd or 3rd year
Match day revenue would depend on ticket prices. In either Brisbane or Melbourne you would be able to charge double the usual GF prices. In Melbourne we are used to the AFL GF cheapest ticket being over $300, so I reckon $150 might be about right for the cheap seats if Storm are playing. If not, it would be a disaster at the MCG. Not sure if the AFL would allow it at Marvel, but 40k - 50k there would work. Or 30k @ AAMI.I don't have a problem with this.
