when the storm thing came public it was said they would remain unamed because there was no doubt the 2 had sex wit the girl but it was unknown if there was "rape" involved

So whats the difference when the bulldogs dont name players? Whats the difference with the evidence that was found at the bulldogs investigation? There was evidence of sex and again it was unknown of rape. All you supporters have double standards and its pathetic

Chip + Shoulder = Bulldogs fans.

If you're talking about me for starting this thread then I'll try to clear things up a bit. I didn't start this thread to attack Melbourne. If they have been found to have no case to answer then i'm completely satisfied with that result.

What I was trying to point out was the inconsistencies that exist in the media and the NRL. The media obviously knows the Bulldogs case would attract a lot more attention than the Storm case, so they focused on it much more heavily. Gallop runs on knee-jerk reactions. He handed down a fine based mostly on what the media had to say. What if the media chose to report the clothing worn to police interview with a positive spin and say it was a show of defiance by the players towards their innocence ? Would Gallop have a problem then ? Does Gallop know what the Storm players wore to their interviews ?? What if the media attributed those 'bun' comments to another teams ex player ? Would that still be a reason to fine us ?

Gallop based his decision on what the media had to say and didn't believe a word from our side. That's what i'm so pissed off about.

I think that initially the fact that this was the second report of Bulldogs players at the same place a year later for the same offence was the catalist for initial publicity. Add to that the fact that both Mortimer and Hughes resigned as a result.

The Bulldogs rorting the system in 2002 had already left a bad perception in the public mind.

You as in The Bulldogs(Players and Club) have been a absolute disgrace to RL for the past 3 years.

Well it does sound like you have a chip!!!. I heard that she was all in it for the money.
