How do you think we will go in this trial game?

Lyon seems be a star player for both trial matches we are gonna play...

Whats the score gonna be?

To me, the score is irrelevant. It's all about developing combinations and trying a few things.

Yeah i can see what your saying....if something does/doesn't work for the team, at least in the trial match they can get a grip on it and work out what they need to do to get up in the finals this season :)

And I agree with the above post...we will thrash the storm...

No Injuries, thats all I'm worried about. The score can be Storm 50 Manly 0 for all I care.

Lyon may well be a star, but he's facing a paceman in Greg INglis I believe. I still don'y like Lyon @ 5/8 for us.

Too be honest, I'm glad we are playing Brissy and Melbourne in the trials. It should hold us in good stead for the season ahead.

Someone said the score is irrelevant, and that's probably true. Last year we were thumped by THe Roosters at Gosford, and came 5th !!!

And the year before we gave the Tigers a touch-up in the rain, and they ended up bloody winning the whole thing!

Congratulations and a big thank you to your club for sending an almost full strength side to play their trial match up here on the Sunny Coast.
Although I am not a Manly fan, I am a footy fan and will be at the ground supporting footy.
Unfortunately the Storm club have hoodwinked us and sent a no name team up to play and this is a disgrace to the game and to the NRL and I would hope that the NRL slaps that club with a hefty fine. Tickets were sold out not long after they were released and at $25 each I would have expected the clubs to send a reasonably 1st grade side, Manly did and Storm didn't.
I personally will write to the NRL with my complaint.

BTW I will for the first time in my life be supporting Manly and I hope you towel the imposters up with a massive score. I know that Manly will be the most supported club of the two as most of us up here are disgusted with the Storms attitude to footy fans on the Sunshine Coast.

Well that's 3 forums (i've seen anyway) that you've sooked and moaned to all who will care to listen and even those that don't. How about you stop being a little bitch and go and enjoy the game? You're going to look like a real knob if the 'rabble' the Storm put on the park make it a very close game and put up a good account of themselves against the star studded Manly side aren't you? God forbid if they actually win

big trial game in Melbourne next week, Storm play the Premiers who probably won't be fielding a reserve grade side so the big name players will probably need that extra day at the venue to prepare.

Congratulations Manly in being a party to 'baiting', and disappointing alot of people at the same time. The team on the program - with all the stars - only played on third of the match! Plenty of people travelled many kilometres to see the stars - Lyons, Bell, Orford, Watmouth etc - only to watch the second-string team run around for most of the match.

If that is done in the commercial world, it's called baiting and you can be convicted for the exercise.
