This has been a LONG time coming. I've seen lee and slim jim but I finally get to see them all!

For anyone who gives a sh*t.... dates are confirmed. They are playing in Melbourne the day before my 29th birthday. If they run over midnight then I get to see them on my birthday. Bitching.

I'm a fan of both bands, mate. I'll be there. I actually got onto the Brian Setzer Orchestra first before finally getting around to the Stray Cats.

A Pogues tour was rumoured earlier this year but seems to have fallen through for financial reasons:

Unfortunately, we have been unable to agree terms that would make a return trip to Australia feasible this year, although we tried hard to make it happen, in conjunction with some Japanese dates which are now also not going to happen. However much we would love to go back to Australia - and we would - it is simply too big and too far away to put ourselves through so punishing a travel routine with so little to show by way of financial profit.
