IMO is has moved away from Family Guy enough now not to be considered a straight clone.

It is still similar but the characters are no longer carbon copies of the Family Guy characters like at the start of the season.

with that being said tho i prefer family guy. AD is still very funny.

And yeh - I prefer Family Guy too.

But I find American Dad! very out there - takes the piss out of Americans and their fear of terrorism and is quite on the border of "funny" and "offensive".

Decent, getting better i think. Americans own the title for best comedic cartoons, many good ones to choose from. England still win in live action shows (America has only ever produced 3 good ones).
