Stuart Fielden?

I have heard rumours of Fielden coming to Manly next year. I realise he isn't off contract, and Manly would need to pay a transfer fee, but does anyone know anymore substance to this rumour?

But I daubt you'll geer him away from Bradford, till his contract has expired down at Odsal in 2007.
But we can't be certain.

Both fielden and jamie peackock have both made it clear they have desires to play in nrl when there contracts up. both awesome players

What like the rumours of a divided dressing room and several players who are only staying so they get paid?

I think Peacock is the more likely one to join Manly to be honest.

I highly doubt Peacock would be an option for Manly. Kennedy, Harris, Watmough, Menzies..........the list goes on for our backrow.

I got rumours that Peacock was going to be joining the Raiders, don't know where Manly came from as a rumour.

Peacock is better than all of those, with the possible exception of Kennedy. He, and Fielden would walk into ANY NRL team.

Why not? He must be knocking 50 by now. Watched Manly against Souths on Sky yesterday and by the looks of that game they could sign anyone from Super League and it would improve them.

I'll give you this one as I don't get many rumours about Bradford, apart from Iestyn's daily bowel movements :roll:

We won't be signing any more backrowers. Menzies needs an offseason to recharge the Batteries and Rest his Hamstring, Watmough (our Form Backrower) wasn't playing because of a nose injury and Sam Harris played about 60 minutes of the Match Concussed. Add Glenn Stewart (Reserve Grader who's being groomed as Menzies replacement, ben Kennedy and Luke Williamson, and we won't be searching for any more second rowers, especially one that is coming at Peacocks price.
