Stupid Australian Schoolboys Schedule!

Due to some idiotic scheduling it seems that the Australian Schoolboy test matches are going to pull those players out of their respective clubs Jersey Flegg campaigns:x

The schedule below seems like it will effect both the GF and Preliminary finals of the Flegg comp. Why they cant just have the test matches after the season is over is beyond me. Lachlan Coote and Greg Waddell who are current Flegg players for Penrith will now miss the end of the Flegg season because of this.

The Australian Schoolboys program is:
Saturday 22 September Assemble AIS , Canberra
Tuesday 25 September - Depart for Auckland
Wednesday 26 September - Invitational Game, Auckland
Saturday 29 September - First Test, Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland
Saturday 6 October - Second Test, International Stadium, Rotorua

Yeah that is a bit annoying.

Penrith will miss out on having Lachlan Coote and Greg Waddell
Parramatta will miss out on having Jason Baitieri
Manly will miss out on having Kieran Foran
Roosters will miss out on having Martin Kennedy - but they won't make the finals anyway.

Although i think Coote and Foran were the only 2 who were actually in the starting side last week.

Waddell also started and played the full game at centre for Penrith.

In a full strength Panthers Flegg side neither lachlan nor greg would be in the 17..
So to that extent it wont affect Penriths campaign although if there is injuries it seems quite cruel that they will miss out on getting the call up!

Lachlan and Greg were outstanding yesterday, they should be definately in contention for the finals.
