It was obvious to anyone who watched the game that Sullivans contribution far outweighs one bad pass.

He is a genuine , viable attacking option for noddy and surely must be pushing for the 5/8 spot. Start Gallen in the second row and leave him there for 80 mins, no different to the fantastic match he played on the weekend. HIlder is doing great at hooker.

As for the Character of Michael Sullivan, many people here are giving him a wrap for the character he showed even going out to play on the weekend, and I agree 100%, but the amazing thing is, the kid has been showing that character for months during his mums long battle with a terrible illness that all too many people are touched by, yet he has performed, like last weekend, week in week out this year.

From a mad sharks fan Michael, Thanks for the Dedication to the club above and beyond the call of duty .

Again, Beeker has hit the nail on the head. It is because Sully is such a vibrant attacking option that he will, from time to time, do these 'unexpected' things that we call brain snaps. However, the majority of the time the things that he will do are extremely valuable.. For instance, just in yesterdays game, his little grubber into the ingoal put Simmo over and his numerous darts for dummy half got us some very valuable metres in times when we were being dominated in defence.

It is stupid to talk about dropping him or whatever. We won the match, so lets just move on.

Sully has shown tons of courage and heart in the past couple of years.

Nice call beeker.

I agree, he made it look sooooo easy with the kick in goal to simmons. I for one will be extremely upset if we dont resign him.

Dear Mods,
Any chance we could lock this thread? I just feel that I was completely out of line (albeit unwittingly) in posting it given the circumstances and suggest that out of respect it might be the right thing to lock it. Again, I am terribly sorry to hear of Sully loss's and hope that my stupidity has not caused any additional stress. I also agree with all of the observations about all of his positive contributions during the game.

No worries, but I think you're being hard on yourself - I'm sure you weren't the only one who wasn't aware of the background.
