I read in the Big League magazine today that Steve Rogers is wary of the offer that they put to Peach. Apparently it may be considered as something of an 'insult'.

Did Rogers say he considers the offer an insult Richo?

Or does Rogers think Peach will consider it an insult?


Doesnt sound good either way.

re Richo's comment, the question begs asking why is such a paltry offer tabled to Peach ? We almost never win without him.

Is there anyone who can replace him ?

Are we facing salary cap problems ?

Mr Beekershark was saying that about everyone. He used it in reference to Nutley being chased by 2 other clubs and found they didn't have the money he was hoping for.

Gallen may well find what he felt was an insulting offer was in fact current market value.

Saying insulted by offer this is the manager trying to get more money from the club, you here it about every 2nd player, just today the Bulldogs were saying thurston was after to much and probably woudnt stay, next week we prob resign, then you her talks stall between Tate and Broncos, all just seeking more money, if Tate leaves broncs may end up at Dogs with his brother in law

Firstly I find it hard to beleive that a club can expect a a first grade NRL player to play for that amount of money.
Secondly, I find it hard to beleive that anybody plays the game for that amount of money.
Especailly seeing there are blokes beside them on 6 times what they earn.
Just give it the flick & get a day job.
