The Herald tries hard to ignore league but they can't afford to. Poor old Peter Fitzsimmons does his best to push the union barrow with his constant anti league stories. He was at it again with a story in Saturdays NZ Herald knocking the league tri nations.

I voted for Sunday Telegraph even though they do have Rebecca Wilson whose column is certainly not worth reading.

Although The Sun Herald does have Peter Fitzsimmons whose always bashing league just because he's sick of us always outdoing union.

Generally SUn-Herald. I find they seem to cover the games played better than the telegraph, though I always buy the telegraph during the week for their superior coverage their.

I'd say that it's about equal really... Although the tele has more league, their league commentators are shit house and that nulifies it. But generally speaking the tele is a peice of right wing, howard and bush loving toilet paper that isn't worth the paper it's printed on... I've never once bought it, only ever had a look at sport when it's lying around at work.

Despise the Telecrap as a newspaper...But their no#1 sport is League and remember also they dedicate a fairly large chunk every Monday during the season to the weekend's games. Their better coverage of the game blocks out Rebecca Wilson (most of the time).

The Telegraph were able to match SMH when they had Chippy Frilingos on board doing what he had been doing for the best part of 40 years...

Now, going into season 2005, Paul Kent, Dean Ritchie and Rebecca Wilson head their League department. Hmm...why is it I only look forward to reading anything from Andrew Johns in that paper

The SMH IMO is the more insightful paper and provides the best coverage throughout the season. The Telegraph's main focus is their 'childlike' obsession with rubbishing anything from Phil Gould whereas the SMH will report the game with as little gossip BS as possible.

The SMH is an easy winner.

God were scraping the bottom of the barrell now.

What next?

[Poll] Do you prefer to sit on the sidelines, behind the posts or near the corners?

Yeah, um ok. Sure.

I've seen 2 Gould articles this year. One about his Origin antics and yesterdays sympathising overhis heart condition.

You're a toss.

And furthermore he was referring to the Sunday papers SH and ST, not SMH and DT
