Nope - they re-built and made it about a 20,000 capacity several years ago.
It was far from full but like I said it was pissing down with rain.

Rugby comes second to Netball over there.
Weird buggers, the whole town went nuts after the Sting won for the 50th time in a row.

Thats a pretty poor crowd for a Highlanders game.

Don't expect the Highlanders crowds to go up when they go back to the House of Gain .
The way they perform and the the way Carisbrook look doesn't make any fan wanna get off their backside and support them .

Thats a very good crowd in AKL especially with how badly they are playing. It shows the pulling power of the Cantabs. I went to the AKL vs Reds game and that looked like a close to full house as well.

Its was good to see the Aucks get behind their team . I think 90% of the crowd all had Blues jerseys/jackets etc .
There has been alot of non Auckland supporters wearing their colours as well .
I use to play in Eden park alot but the stadium really looks good now . It was a s*ithole back in the 80s/90s .
