Saw the Brumbies game.

They were very fortunate to get a free kick on the siren.

A draw would have been a more fitting result.

The form book this year has been crap. It was always a safe beat to put your tips/money on Brumbies, Blues, Crusaders and then to a bit of the toss of the coin Canes, Highlanders, Stormers, Tahs then you forgot the rest. Now its the rest that is giving it to the rest of the comp. Tahs actually look consistant this year but lets wait until round 6 when the wheels will start to fall off :).

Suppose it keeps it exciting bayrep but I know what you mean, very hard to tip atm.

Steve Walsh, was he the ref for the Brumbies game?

Yeah but the Brumbies got dudded by the video ref with a pretty clear try disallowed earlier on, so I guess it evened out in the end.

Same with the Reds game, one of their tries was later seen to be a dropped ball, that's the way it goes. You win some, you lose some - unless the ref's totally biased it usually evens out somehow.

I heard that Steve Walsh had a shocker on the weekend. Sent the Stormers half back off for 10mins with 7mins left to go when it only deserved a penalty at the most. Let the Brumbies back in. Then of course the penalty very late into injury time as mentioned above.

As I said before, the Brumbies had what looked clearly a fair try disallowed by the TMO, so there was plenty each way. And it was the Sharks, not the Stormers.
