.

How the f**k do you blow a 25 point lead in the 4th qtr? That's unheard of in the history of the nfl. thank God the Rams didn't hire this Shanahan loser. The winning fg in sight if they run the ball 3 straight downs and he calls a freaking long pass play. What a f**king dumbo. Hopefully he calls the same way for the whiners moving forward.

.

Yeah I agree that play calling was terrible, I hope he learns from it

The dramatics of the game kinda hides the fact that the OT rules are f**ked up. The Falcons not even getting a chance to reply is crazy, regular season? Yeah sure, but in the SB? Nuts I tells ya!
I think it has to change because in today's game where defence in the secondary has basically been legislated out of the game it's so easy for a team with a great QB to roll 90 yards for a TD in 2-3 minutes.

It was almost touch footy in the 4th qtr and OT for the Pats.

It wasn't the case 15-20+ years ago but in todays game that coin toss in OT is just too important to the result.

The strong blue states that make up New England did a good job of defeating Georgia

Wow, I have no words. That's the biggest choke in history surely.
One score, that's all Atlanta had to do in the final quarter, just one more score.
Atlanta's D just plain wore out. The had an outstanding first 3 quarters, but needed the offense to step up just once.
Congrats to the Patriots I guess. One thing about a Patriots SB is it's always a tight finish.
I notice they gave Brady the MVP, for mine it was James White who deserved it. Without his runs and YAC Patriots don't win IMHO.

A big moment that the Falcons didn't seem to capitalise on was the Julio Jones catch, that's a momentum-killer if I've ever seen one.
A lot of moments the didn't capitalize on. That failed onside kick presented a golden opportunity to deliver the final head shot was another.
No guarantees for the Falcons they'll have this chance again, just ask the Panthers..

Yep a lot can happen in 12 months, they need to keep strengthening that D imo

Keanu Neal is a stud, Deion Jones looks good too

That Ryan sack in fg range was perplexing. As the play unfolded it looked like a dump off to freeman for sure as he just chipped the rusher on his way through. He was wide open. Why call such a risky play when a nice safe option was available which would have produced yards?

The cheats have been so lucky their last 2 superbowl wins with their opposition prying defeat from the jaws of victory. Seagulls and Falcons had the momentum for the win then awful playcalls gave the game away.

And if Samuel and Welker caught their respective balls they would have 7 Rings... The game isn't played in Ifs.

New England's D came up huge in the 2nd half and the GOAT at 39 years old still smashing records and collecting rings, unbelievable.
