Watching first take this morning.... I 100% agree with the guys about Carroll...

I thought Pete Carroll was guilty of some arrogance... And that's before that crazy goal line pass play.,.

How on earth he thought KJ Wright could go man on Gronk is just arrogance. It was like Carroll decided that they were the best and that they didn't need to adjust to anybody.

Obviously they were stretched with injuries and the way Edelman & Vereen were playing... But when you compare the way Belicheck adjusted with the way they covered Matthews and Carroll's lack of flexibility... It's night and day...

Truthfully, i think the Lane injury really hurt the Seahawks, they werent able to stay in their base positions after that because Simon can't play inside. Lane was doing a decent job as the slot corner, and Maxwell and Sherman were doing their thing on the outside, after the injury, Sherman mostly played his side but lined up in the slot at least 3-4 times, which he is not used too, Maxwell shifted inside and struggled a bit, and Simon was relied on the outside and frankly, was abused by Brady time and time again.

Ive got no problem with KJ Wright on Gronk. I mean it's not ideal but you have a defensive alignment, they call the perfect call, and you've either got to call a time out and adjust, or try to adjust on the fly, or trust your guy to make a play. Aint like Wright can't cover. He's usually pretty good, trouble is that other dude is a HOFer, and maybe the best TE ever. Tough match up, it happens.

Maybe i'm bias, but NE winning or not, that was probably the best Super Bowl ive watched, it had everything, Bad Calls, a bad pick, a weird play call, another Miracle catch, clutch Final Drives and so much more. I would love to see the Ratings for it. Edit. Just read it was the most watched in US TV History.

I was watching it over here. In the states. Surrounded by a bunch of Seahaks fans. They thought they had the game won when they were up by 10+, then they thought on out 1yrd line they had the game. When that INT hit, they all went white as ghosts. I will admit, I thought at the point the game was last though and they'd score for sure. But Butler pulled through.

There was a few,
*Roughing the Kicker (Man hits the planted leg)
*Spot of the ball in the 2nd Quarter giving SEA a first instead of 4th and inches.
*Missed Butler Tripping WR on a 3rd down which would of been 1st down at least
*Intentional Grounding on NE

Plus 1 or two more for eitherteam, but it sort of evened itself out.

I looked back just as they snapped, didnt see Butler intercept at first and then everything went nuts. The casino exploded and we all swung our jerseys around our heads haha. I was wearing my Gostkowski jersey because I figured a kick would win it for us!

I think if they rush, beast mode scores. Fair dinkum they only passed because NE was in the rush defence and they were trying to mix it up. What they didnt count on was their receivers getting jammed up by corner backs. What a massive moment for Butler. Even if he doesnt play another game, he will always be famous for that catch. He can dine out on that. Most exciting moment in any SB i can remember.

Waited a long time for this 4th ring. Been following since 1995. Grew up in NE NSW and have cousins in Worchester, MA. The one against the Rams and this are my 2 favourites. I dont think we will win again next year, but I really hope to see Brady finish on a high at 40

Do you think eventually they draft a first round QB pick or work with Garoppolo?

Garoppolo is a special player that has a lot of positivity from scouts.
And I think with Belichick and McDaniels he's got a good chance to succeed.

I'd be interested to see how Brady would react to a first round QB pick though.
