On another note, I watched the Fox Sports coverage. A mate was telling me the SBS coverage was pretty ordinary. Did anyone here watch the sbs coverage and if so what was it like? Just curious

Yeh i got stuck watching the sbs coverage for today and it was pretty poor, at least the commentators only talked when there was a break in the FOX coverage of the game, would of killed myself if they did the commentating for the game.

Mind you, they did explain a lot of things from the perspective of a first-time viewer of the game.

I remember Don Lane explaining all the rules when he used to have his NFL show on the ABC...old hat to many followers, but to a young bloke learning about the game - invaluable.

i watched the game on Fox but flicked over to SBS every now and then.. they didnt even show the pre-game stuff. :roll:

Yeh ive noticed hime on the past SBS superbowl coverages as well and he seems like a real idiot. Does he have any experiance with the NFL or sports in general?

Or he may have seen some games live when touring the states. But all in all thats about it.

Was good. About 15-20 people & we were given half a pub so you cant complain! :lol:

Game wise I thought it was crap. Eagles loss aside I just didnt find it as good a game as I expected. Oh well, they'll both be back there next year so maybe then the fireworks will start...
