What a shame Lee Smith is leaving the game. I thought he was a very good winger. Sort of like Matt Sing.

It's a damn shame, he was a good winger but at any other SL club but Leeds or Saints he would have been a star fullback. IMO he was the best backline player England had.

The transfer deadline has now passed for domestic moves, so expect a few transfers in the next few days.

You might have missed the French team also competing in European Super League?

For the record, Celtic tribes existed in areas we now know as Irish, Scotish, Welsh, and also French (and probably more?).

Celts or Celtic tribes with a hard C rather than the Scottish football teams soft ess sound covered most of France, Belgium, England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland.

The Celts were really a group of different tribes or peoples that interacted and traded with each other rather than a Nation group as such. Rather like "Anglo Saxon" peoples cover various countries today.

Celtic people spoke their own language, or variety of languages and if you go to Wales all the road signs are in both English and Welsh, which is a form of Gaelic language, or the language of the Celts.

If you go to Scotland, you will also see signs in Gaelic - so same applies there. Manx from the Isle of Man is another Gaelic language and Cornish was another one. In fact the last native Cornish speaking person only died in the 18th Century. The language has survived in academia and there are a handful of speakers.

It's a popular misconception that Celtic or Gaelic was exclusive to Ireland. In fact that was the last place the Celts actually settled.

Celtic tribes were all over Northern Europe in the Iron Age. Tribes like the Iceni were Celtic etc.

The Romans then came in and crushed the culture in England and Wales, but the Celtic people still lived there. The Celtic way of life continued in Scotland and Ireland.

After the Romans left in about 500AD the Celtic culture came back in Wales but England was settled by Angles and Saxons, (hence the land of the Angles, Angleland, England). This was then taken over by the Normans in 1066 who then invaded Wales, Scotland and Ireland over the next 300 years. Now there is no Celtic culture except a few people who still speak the language and a few tourist things like Irish themed pubs and Highland games. If you want to be technical there where no Celtic Crusaders, there were Frankish then later other European Crusaders. But i guess there were no Rhinos in Leeds either or Panthers in Penrith so it doesn't matter.

There were however Wolves in Warrington, and Warriors in Wigan so Wahey!!

Back on topic: Not confirmed but..
Warrington Ins: Myler, Atkins, Solomona.
Warrington Outs: Johnson, Rauhihi.
