Will need a big improvement on the first 2 weeks for either team to find themselves in the top half of the competition.
Leigh's goal for the year will be to not get immediately demoted - their squad isn't good enough yet to really compete.
Leeds.. well. Concentration lacking. Their halves just don't control the game well enough, don't get their talented backline good enough ball. Watkins and Hall just don't get enough opportunities.

Hard to see us having as bad as season as last year. Already got a quarter of last year's regular season points! Agree we'll struggle to threaten the top four tho. Hard to complain after the golden decade.

No mention of saints losing at Leigh and wire being pointless despite an awesome performance vs Brisbane.

Cas look like they might play some attractive stuff. Think it's going to be an interesting season

Most of their forward pack well over the hill as well. Just lack energy and drive. Experienced and tough enough to keep them fighting in easier games but nothing that's gonna threaten the top 4 or even 8 on today's performance.

Put the old halves and props out to pasture/sell them to Bradford or something.
Bring up some fresh blood into the pack.
