I had Tedesco as captain that worked out badly for sure.
The amount of injuries as well churn of players lol
It's interesting to see that players don't need to play well to accumulate points

Iv been carrying $800k+ unused the past few rounds, keep tossing up if to hold it and buy back Cleary or use it gradually over the rest of the season slowly trading up when needed.

Well, we can all expect a stinker from Nicho this week…. I’ve stuck the C next to his name given Souths should be a rabble.

Same, he's back as my C by default pretty much. AFB not performing SC wise. Teddy head bashed again. Cleary out, replaced by DCE who got 126 last week as NON captain but I'm not confident in Manly in NZ.

I made 3 changes, including using my firs boost (way too early) but just undid them.

Here's a tip. Schiller. Can score 0 this week and till make close to $150k next week. That's free money IMO

I've also had Iro as a placeholder who will come in this week as I think he's going to make money as well.

I haven't got Ponga in yet. He was the boost I used earlier but I have undone those trades. I might be able to get him in after I do some maths. I just ditched the Kiwi kid, Tuaupiki for Schiller and now have $4.5 hunge K to spend. I'm thinking Ponga in for Teddy and then VCing Ponga this week so the Thursday game is ideal for that.

Other than that I'll go Hynes or DCE.

I'm looking at him as a CTW/FLB cheapie as Rapana is out for 6-8 weeks they say. Chevy will make $$ even if he sits on the bench and he's not used in your 17.

Captain is risky IMO.

So, I've saved the boost and had it returned.

Went with

Schiller > Tuaupiki
Ponga > Tedesco

net loss of $21,000 for the week but till have $347,400 in bank.

Ponga subbed in for Pappy as VC for the week. Hynes captain unless Ponga scores big on Thursday

Plan to trade Schiller for Chevy next week.

Just trying to make money from cash cows to try and build a stronger team for second half of the season

Only trade this week is Blaze out with $75k interest for Schiller as Frenzy said free money. Had max king traded as he was meant to be out for 4 weeks but named so have undone at this stage.
Really wish they would give 5 points for every 10min of HIA of the field. Had Garrick as captain with a solid 2 points last week

They need to look at the HIA thing. Can't be too hard to let SC players nominate an 18th player from the 7 non playing squad members. I mean form can be predictable to a point, even a small point, but HIAs are just dumb luck for SC players.

Good point look last weekend Garrick and Teddy, both of those players so many have as captain as well

Draft is even worse, as most of us have key players out injured and you don't want trade them.out.
So looking for those dual position players.
Makes it even more wilder

I’ve swapped out Mam and Taylan May this week - switched Strange from Centres to 5/8 and then brought in Manu and Schiller. I’ve Vice captained Manu - playing fullback, against the Knights. I think he could have an big game - if he does, my issue will be finding someone to lose from the team to get his captain points.
