Supersonics a step closer to returning

Yeah heard that they were developing a new arena.. Can't believe it's only two years away. Once the sonics got the kick my nba viewing and general coverage died. I really do feel bad for the kings fans base. I remember scouring the net for anything that mentioned a possible return to the league.. I just about gave up.

So this means as of next season right, the sonics will be back?

Most likely back next season.

So far it looks like the Seattle group have paid a $30 million deposit for the kings. The NBA board of governors need to approve the relocation and the relocation submission must be in by sometime in march.

From what I've read the relocation approval is pretty much guaranteed.

No point in staying in Sac once the deal goes through.
