Oh look, a more serious Bunniesman issue.

I found myself agreeing with his response to the dickheads who violated his privacy, until it got down to the self-serving bullshit at the bottom and bagging the fact he only had a "small minority" defend him at the time.

I doubt that was down to what happened, more that the majority of people avoid stuff like Bunniesman and lol@50uff$ threads because they contribute nothing to the NRL section.

Point being - even when in the right, Bunniesman comes across as an arrogant dickhead

I didn't mean a "small minority" of LU's entire population. I meant a small minority of the people in that thread. In my view even among my biggest critics and the most diehard lol@souths types, what BDR said should have made up the majority of replies to what was posted.

And it wasn't about defending me specifically. The post I said I respected about BDR even pointed out him not liking me. It wasn't about me specifically. In my view people should be against privacy violations and personal attacks as a general rule.

That was my point, I wouldn't have done and said the things that were done to me to my worst enemy on here.

The other funny thing (and I'm not defending what was done), is that there are many people on here who are relatively comfortable or open with their identities. I'm easily identifiable through my work here on LU, as are many of the writers and updaters.

Sometimes that opens us to criticism, and it makes it very difficult to lie about one's personal life when so much of it is there online for all to see.

Bottom line BM, you would've been better off not lying or being secretive in the first place. You put yourself on the pedestal which people are desperately trying to push you off.

The lies started to try and protect my privacy and so people couldn't find me on social networking sites when I found out people were actually taking the time and effort to try and find me. I honestly found that creepy so I started lying so people wouldn't have things like my location/age etc to enter into those sites. So I started mixing parts of my real life with elements of where I aspire to be in the future.

The truth: I'm not a 22 year old from Coogee. I'm a 21 year old uni student from Coffs who plans on living in Sydneys Eastern Suburbs when I move there after Uni. The end.

And yes, my parents are Serbian immigrants. But pronouncing and spelling my name to every single person I interact with in realife is bloody annoying and after uni I plan on changing it to something very simple.

Not quite what I was getting at. The point is that people may not have been online at the time it happened and even then that's still a small amount of people who've had a switch flicked in their brain over their hatred of you. Whether that's justified or not isn't my place to say.

Personally, as you can see in my previous post, I think you're being a bit precious. I can understand the frustration and shock at the lengths people would go to (as I said, I've seen it before), but I think if you relaxed, dropped the pretence, and became a person instead of an enigma on this forum, you'd find the melee around you would quickly disappear and they'd all find their next cause to sink their teeth into.

People with good memory will recall there was a time when I said I was just a uni student in Coffs. But then people started playing Detective and trying to find me, to obviously do what they did this morning, so I started making shit up to make it harder to find me.

Like I said earlier I should have just given the report button a work out when people were posting pics of me instead of lying. Hindsight is 20/20.

It only happened because one of my fb "friends" (more like very loose acquaintance) saw the pic of me being spread around here and realised who "BunniesMan" was. He has since been unfriended.

BM I agree it wasn't right what was done to you. Now that you are on the truth path keep on it. BTW nothing wrong with having Serbian migrants as parents. My family is Eastern European. There are so many nationalities in my family I could be considered a mutt.

I'm generally against the whole "gang attacking" on here, it's happened to many people including myself although it doesn't bother me like it does you, but you however for a variety of different reasons deserve every bit of it IMO.
