In fairness, what Ferguson supposedly did is something I see every time I'm drunk enough to brave a nightclub. Hell I've been groped. Nightclubs are garbage. It doesnt make it right, of course....but if he wasn't a footy player I doubt he'd have been charged by the couple. That said he's a scumbag who's had his chances....so stuff him

Was he really charged with indecent assault over a bit of a drunken grope?

If that's the case, seems like a case of different rules for famous people than we normal folk. Who hasn't seen a guy go the grope when he's on the turps?

Whenever something like this comes up there seems to be the ones who say he did nothing wrong, the types who are convinced it's an AFL conspiracy (or the look at what the AFL get away with people) and then the "she wanted it" types occasionally pop up as well. Lose a it of faith in humanity.

Their IQ's barely register above single life cell forms, but they are people. What makes society great is we take care of our mentally disadvantaged rather than feed them to the lions. Sydney is very progressive; we've created a whole suburb for these people to live in... :sarcasm:

A mate was in a car with another mate and his friends from engadine, who were bagging him for being from Wollongong. He just responded "So how's Engadine Beach going for you?" Conversation ended pretty quickly

Yep, you hit the nail on the head with that first part, a lot of those types also bang on about the geniuss at big footy without realizing they are nothing more than leagues version of the big footy folk.

There are ways and means about this sort of thing though. It always used to annoy me when I'd see some drunken idiot just out and out go the grope. You have to be subtle about these things.

I used to find that helping drunken Ladies into a cab was a much more subtle way to get a handful. Many of them even used to thank me for my assistance.

Went to school with the Hindmarsh brothers. Was also very good mates with a guy who won commonwealth gold in lawn bowls in Kuala Lumpar.

And of course a lot of people were very fortunate to go to school with me.
