As someone who grew up around horse racing (harness racing to be precise; same shit, different smell), you're bang on. It exists purely as a vehicle for gambling. I lost interest once I realised that.

Chess is a brilliant game. 100% game of skill, no luck involved. I appreciate that, even if I am completely shite at it.

You can go f**k BM for the motorsport comment though.

There would be at least 25-30 outside backs playing NRL who would walk into that Wallabies side.
