I don't doubt you have fun. I imagine I would (I do with my girlfriend). But I don't see a whole lot of debauched fun with your mates on the horizon once you tie the knot.

I think this is where we divert - I don't see debauchery as fun. A fire in the backyard with a cigar and a glass of port while talking with mates = my type of fun.

This is also my idea of fun. But I'm a bit of a loser

I can (and do) enjoy that (sans port) - but sometimes I want to pub crawl, tell wildly inappropriate stories, eat food that is not at all healthy, and have at least one minor mystery injury the following morning.

Well we can be losers together

I have no problem with all of those. I just don't enjoy being drunk anymore and would probably hedge what side 'wildly inappropriate' would sit on. The reality, though, is that's a once a year thing (for instance, a bucks day) as to do it all the time would dull the sense of what enjoyment I derive from it.

After church on Sunday we all go to the pub, buy steak or schnitty with chips, drink an amber ale and then head home when we are finished. It's an awesome 'tradition', but its the people that make the tradition rather than the activity.

That sounds pretty sweet. We do a similar thing after cricket here most Sundays - a couple of Tigers, a cheap pub meal, and tall stories. Good times.

All things in moderation, even moderation.

Ah, I thought it might have been to do with that. Makes sense under Chinese naming conventions too.

Carry on.

Driving down M7 at 100km/h. Get overtaken by car. Look down, lady in passenger seat was breastfeeding her baby.

Fmd some people are f**king morons.
