Well the system is designed to back the umpires on 50/50 calls, and only overrule the shockers. I don't agree with it necessarily, but you can't cry too loudly when it's only clipping leg, and in years past would have been given not out 90% of the time anyway.

That's what makes it so much worse though. The kid deserved a 100 for his absolutely stellar performance, but he misses out by the most excruciating of margins.

Very reminiscent of Warnie and Starc. Probably worse, given the game situation. The advantage is that he's 19 and will no doubt move up the order. Will hopefully get a few more chances.
