Manly threw their best at us. They kept coming and coming. But their top gear, their 5th gear was not good enough to crack us. In crunch time we had an extra gear, the 6th gear, what I like to call the championship gear. Their best couldn't crack us, our best cracked them.

You're better than that Apey. I usually rate you as one of the minority that play the ball rather than the man.

How is what you quoted even that bad? We won a game and I dared to say we were the better team.

If that is not ok what is the point of having a forum.

bm is a fascinating fella

He is capable of posting some utterly stupid hyperbole and grandiose statements of arrogance backed up by nothing.

But he also shows from time to time he has the ability to put forward genuinely decent and intelligent content.

If he cut out the former and only gave us the latter he'd be a really good poster.

To be fair I do think his ratio of intelligent posts to troll posts has improved for the better in recent months. But his (very deserved) reputation at this stage seems to be bigger than him.
