Just did 45 push ups. That's an all time BunniesMan record. I remember the days I couldn't do 20. Example #3848487 of what drinking much less alcohol does for your body.
Weren't you moving in with some mates of yours?

Good troll. Would read again. Welcome back Trollman.
1. Yes. But I would ditch them for dl.
2. I wasn't trolling. But I do appreciate the welcome. Thank you.

45 push ups ?

lol

what a unit
I never said I was a world class athlete. Personal fitness isn't a competitive sport, it's about improving yourself and that's what a PB is. From weighing 118kg to weighing 94. From less than 20 pushups to 45, from about 25 situps to 60, from 7kg bicep curls to 23kg. Getting better is the important thing.

Compared to where I was not that long ago I've improved a lot and I'm feeling much better and that's what matters most to me.

Well looks like I'd pass with flying colours in todays army. And I'd be able to do the pushups requirement for the next two males as well.

I'd even pass the fitness entry test for the special forces.

Sadly the standard has dropped a huge amount. When you talk about situps are you talking not having your feet anchored palms on your thighs and wrists coming to your knees?

If you are serious about comparing to the services standards here is a link to the correct procedures of each excercise.

I have NFI why they'd drop the standards on a group who's whole purpose is to be physically superior to the opposition i.e. enemy.

Its stupid they've lowered the standards.

I'd say it's because they still need to fill quotas and with the overweight and obese stats this country has now it would probably be impossible to get the numbers they need with standards from a generation ago when overweight/obesity levels were not over 50% like they are now. Same go with the police.

IMO their thinking is get anyone in who a) is willing and b) physically fitter than a vegetable and then train them up once they're in.

Maybe they've discovered that brawn isn't always better than brain.
We aren't living in the Middle Ages anymore Drew.I think the VC taught us a bit

Just like the AFL have learnt and the NRL is still learning.

The dressing for my salad leaked in my lunch box and made it's way into the slice of birthday cake I brought.

That is a tragedy. And I'm not being sarcastic in the slightest bit.

I used to have a lunchbox with solid dividers. Nothing short of a bullet could get through.

... and the war against masculinity continues.

Yes, cause in a fight (and in the army), brawn is clearly not as important as brains. Sorry, when was the last war won without blood, sweat and tears? I'm not suggesting intelligence is irrelevant; simply that the overemphasis of one over the other is devastating.
