Intelligence in ordering your troops, creating strategy and tactics etc is a necessary and important part of war. You lose if you don't do it. So I'm all for intelligence playing a strong role.
But when it gets down to the actual fighting, you want people who have more than just a brain between their head on the ground. You want people who are strong, resilient mentally, able to physically overcome their opponent. Suggesting you only need intelligence in a war is a ludicrous thing to say.
