It's just because ,in that thread,no-one really knows anything about what they are writing .That way there isn't the regular interjection by someone who actually does know about the topic saying how they've got it wrong,and the subsequent familiar abuse directed at them.

try wading into a topic you know alot about.Then you'll get them fired up.

I tend to stay away from that section and sections like it on other forums. Too much 'interwbs srz bizness' attitude and you can never have an intelligent discussion without it devolving into a slanging match.

It's just because ,in that thread,no-one really knows anything about what they are writing .That way there isn't the regular interjection by someone who actually does know about the topic saying how they've got it wrong,and the subsequent familiar abuse directed at them.

try wading into a topic you know alot about.Then you'll get them fired up.

Again, one of the reasons I stay away. Not worth the heartache. Face to face debates or discussions are really where I do any form of apologetics. Its just not worth it otherwise.

Formulating written argument is a great challenge for the mind.And in 4C you get the added bonus of strong intellectual critique of your argument,your intellect overall,and( if you're lucky) your family as well.

This is the third time I've gone out with this girl. I didn't think it was going anywhere romantic after date #2, so haven't seen her in a few weeks. This 'movie night' was her suggestion, so we'll see how we go.

I wouldn't go so far as sex. It's a very multicultural city though. Between the foreigners at university and the foreigners working for big companies with factories/offices here such as Ford and Calvin Kline, there's quite the melting pot here.

Her parents are ridiculously well off from the sounds of things. She was describing the gourmet cuts of meat they give their dog :lol:
