New boots on the car today. Dropped down high performance Pirelli Pzero Neros to slightly more sane (and hopefully longer lasting) P1s. Trying out the nitrogen-filled option to see if it makes a difference (only needs refilling every 3 months rather than every two weeks). Car is definitely riding quieter and smoother. Not sure of it's the new rubber, the nitrogen, or both.

Nitrogen in car tyres is a wank mate.

The only reason we use it in aircraft tyres is because it's inert, don't waste your money on it hey.

It's Sharjah, not Pakistan :fist: But I was just talking to my brother about that. You can literally see the players reflections. It looks like some merkin has been rolling it with a Zamboni

Fitted caps are good.

But when the brims are flat and they have a high crown, well i refuse to buy them.

They fit my, uh, eclectic style. Bright orange broncos cap, bright yellow sunnies, some form of singlet, shitty tattoos, and either black jeans or bordies, shitty leg tattoos and bright green shoes. I give no f**ks, and somehow it works

Didn't cost much, so I thought I'd give it a go. Beats having to check tyre pressures every time I fill up, and finding the air hose broken or missing most of the time. If I had an air compressor at home, it'd be a different story.

Bloody hell, always thought Sharjah was a city in Pakistan. Spot the bloke who came first in NSW in a Geography competition.

This. Flat brim, and isn't adjustable at the back.

Its got nothing to do with the brim mate.

The fitted part is if it has an adjustment available

I always thought they were knownas baseball caps. I find the straight brims amusing. When I was at school, you had to have a curved brim. Straight brims were extremely uncool. Ditto with fly-eye sunglasses (another fashion that has swapped around).

Just did a bit of googling. Turns out there are two main benefits: the gas migrates slower, so you need to check pressures less often; and pure nitrogen is guaranteed to be dry (moisture free), which reduces pressure variability with temperature. The best bet is to have your own air compressor and make sure you purge it of moisture properly.

Yep, if you had a straight brim in high school you were ridiculed in my day (early 90's).

Half the f**king kids these days wouldn't even know who the teams were/are of the snapbacks they are wearing. I see 11-12 year olds strutting around with Charlotte Hornet caps on knowing full well they have no f**king idea the team doesnt exist anymore, though lucky for them their snapback becomes relevant again next year when Charlotte take back the name.
