Think of joining my Uni's Gym this year. $10 a week for students and includes the usual shit as well as an indoor heated 50m swimming pool and cycling studio.

Might actually motivate me to get off my ass and get fit again.

apey, which area are you in?

reason for my question... when i was living in sydney, i was going to join a gym.. until my housemate advised me that he was a member of north sydney leagues club..

which i thought strange, as he didn't follow league..

but.. north sydney leagues club charged $10 per year for membership..

which got members pokies rewards points, cheap meals..

and..

unlimited access to the onsite gym & swimming pool.

worth a look for anyone in the area...

When I was in the Bear SG Ball train on squad we used the gym in the ANZAC Club.

Yep pretty sure (it was nearly 10 years ago since I've been up that way)

Would already have warmed up by walking up from North Sydney Station.

yep same one i went to then.. pretty nice gym..

and for $10 per year, gym fees are pretty f**king reasonable if you ask me..

mind you, my current gym down here is still pretty cheap.. although the guy who runs it did get murdered in december..... that was weird.

I got to use it for free, just needed my bears training gear on.

But I used a gym in Campbelltown for free aswell. My mates were in the magpie squad and they got free use of it too so I would borrow one of their training shirts to get in with.

So.. power outage at chateau muzby (and surrounding villas and their lands).

In 40 degree heat.. and we'd only been back home an hour or so, so the place hadn't cooled down yet..

Sent Mrs muzby and the two offspring to muzby-in-law's house as the kids couldn't cope with the heat..

I'm waiting here incase needed.. power company guys been prodding around and think this could take a while..

I have a nice cool cellar to park myself in, and two fully charged laptops, so I think i'll be entertained.

The big dilemma is the beer situation.

Bought some hoegaarden, but it was ambient, so had itchilling in the fridge. It's not cold yet. And need to keep any coldness goodness in the fridge for as long as possible.

Think i'll have to head to the local and get me some coldies... But what if they're on the same grid??

Stupid electricity.

This is all your fault, Edison.

update.. for those who care..

f**king power still not on..

2 and a half hours on.. laptop no.1 is about to die (6 mins battery life left..) and i'm nearly out of beer... and now can't drive anywhere to get more..

hmm..........
