Plenty of that combo, at least in Jubilee Ave. Strangely enough, the place is heavily populated by people of an age to have latched onto Liverpool when they were winning all the time.

Didn't end up watching a game until around 2000

I only chose Leeds United because I worked at a school in England and the students said I had to follow an EPL team. Chose Leeds because half the Socceroos and El Tel were there.

Funny side note, student there came up to me in a Richmond singlet and banged on about AFL. Let him go for about 5 minutes, told him I was from Sydney and we think AFL players are pillow biters. Kept him quiet for about a month. When he talked to me again, put a 10 quid bet on with him that I could kick a drop goal from the 5 metre line + sideline on a Rugby ground. Hit the far upright and in. Still waiting for that money 11 years later...

i picked everton back in 05 as i drew similiarities between the club and the cowboys. Don't have the resources, aren't one of the golden clubs that gets the world given to them but just had a roster of toilers that stuck it to the big clubs. Then i found out timmy played for them.

I picked West Ham the year they had Neill and Tevez on the books, mostly because they had Neill and I liked their history.

They managed to avoid the drop with a last round win over Manchester United, and it's been more down than up since then. Still, sticking loyal.
