so arrived at the airport for my flight back home, to find it's been delayed by 2 hours..

2 hours.. In an airport...

and i haven't renewed my lounge membership..

i am quite possibly the most annoyed man in the world right now..

why the hell cant they let you know these things via a text to your mobile BEFORE you arrive? Why else do they need your number when booking?

i mean seriously, by the time i get in to find out, i have already returned my hire car..

had i known, i could have kept a hold of it for a another hour or more and gone somewhere productive..

not an airport.

I'm so annoyed and i can't even get drunk to pass the time quicker cause i still need to drive my car home from the airport at the other end.

i would prefer to watch souths win the premiership this year rather than spend my next two hours idle and missing time with my family..

Could be worse, muzby; you could have a 2+ hour layover in a Chinese airport. I once spent 13 hours in Guangzhou's Biayun Airport. I would literally rather be a Queenslander and a Sharks fan at the same time.

but what is frustrating is that by the time i get home, about 10 hours later i have to head BACK to the airport to travel again...

would almost be better off just travelling direct to Brisbane tonight...

Ah shit, bugger me. I don't usually mind delays, since my trips are rarely of the back to back variety.

A delay leaving Shanghai in 2012 meant that I missed my connecting Chicago to DC flight, but it wasn't the end of the world. Just meant getting in much latter.
