I generally think Lyon is a better bowler than O'Keefe, but I probably wouldn't have changed the side.

Starc is dead average.

Unfortunately though, when cricketers grow up with bounce as a key element, and it really develops how our players play with bat and ball, they'll always struggle on these sort of wickets.

I think SOK is the best spinner in Australia, and I think his First Class record speaks for itself. He should have been given a chance a lot earlier. That's not a slight on Lyon, either, although he has been rubbish in three innings thus far.

Purely in the case of this test, I think Lyon relies more on bounce than turn, where O'Keefe gets a little more spin and varies his pace a lot more, and his flight too. I think Lyon is a bit one dimensional on pitches that don't bounce.

Had a seizure and passed out yesterday at work when my blood sugar dropped. I still have no idea how or why it happened. 18 years next month and I still can't work out diabetes.

Yeah fine. Still drove myself home after refusing to go to hospital in the ambulance

I've fainted heaps, and been in a coma but the seizure is new. I remember trying to focus on something but it's like my head was shaking backwards and forwards. So I closed one eye to focus...and that was it.

Diabetes kills so many people, I don't think a lot of people realise how serious it is.

hmm.. good you're okay, but sometimes it's always good to take the extra precaution of an ambulance..

last thing you want it to black out again when driving..

I tested my BSL 4 times before turning on my car. Just to make sure it was still going up. I wouldn't have done it if I thought anyone was in danger.

I know you have mentioned an insulin pump before Dani, but what is the story with not having one? My daughter inlaw is diabetic & has a pump. It's still not perfect, but for the most part she doesn't have too many problems.

ok. My D.I got hers when she was a kid. She spent most of her childhood in foster care (Mums a Junkie) so probably special funding. I thought maybe Medicare would cover that type of thing.

They cost around $8k. I wish I had one.

You can get subsidies if you're under 18. That's about it.

Would make life so much easier. And better for later on.

Missus MKEB is T1 diabetic, She was lucky enough to get govt funding for her pump (in NZ they try and get you onto a pump but you have to fit the medical pre-requisites, and be checked after 6 months to see if you are benefitting). She has been T1 for 30 years.

With her in Particular, her initial thoughts were that wearing a needle in her side 24/7 was barbaric. Eventually she decided to give it a go. Missus MKEB hasnt looked back after being on a pump for a whole year now. (but that wont be the same for all diabetics).
