When sorority girls no longer know you by your name, but instead refer to you as "The Australian". Not sure if it's a good or bad thing...

"the australian" = good thing.

"that australian prick" = bad thing.

Ongoing battle with technology this week... computers, printers, foxtel, internet. Getting fairly tiresome but starting to emerge victorious. Until next week anyway when I'm sure something else will spit the dummy.

Just saw one of the tiniest, yet majestic insects in all the animal kingdom, and creature that is rare to see... the Praying Mantis. Saw the little guy walking across my verandah at the front. I wanted to take him to the backyard instead, so I picked him up using a little twig and took him to the back and I just wanted to take a picture of him before letting him down. This guys head actually turned in the direction my phone was facing as if he wanted to pose for the photo. Finally, I put him down and let him walk up a branch.

The point of this story... I have more respect for that praying mantis than I do for BM!

Obviously the little guy below isn't him!

BF, I hope you feel proud of yourself, you let the fella live and probably sent him off to his impending doom of finding a female mate and dying during sex by having his head eaten off. Congratulations.

Well I'm sure that:

  1. His mother would've advised him of his impending doom beforehand
  2. Keeping him in captivity would've resulted in death, whereas in his natural habitat he could catch spiders, wasps, flies and other bugs that would make delicious delicacies to him
  3. I know I referred to this majestic creature as a dude, but maybe, just maybe, it was a female?
  4. In the case it was a guy, it was only a youth (less than an inch long), not ripe for the mating just yet.
BTW D2010 it sounds like you genuinely care and like this insect as much as I do, so respect+ to you sir.

T20? Maybe for the plebs

Test followed by SA vs Windies test. Although I'll flick between them obviously, especially now that AB is out

Nah, I had that in my hand at the time, it definitely couldn't have been at the crease in Adelaide....

Dogs next door going ballistic, and I'm pretty sure they are descended from the Hound of the Baskervilles so I'm not game to do anything about it.....

I'm just stirring, bro. Just stirring. Insects? Those things don't exist in abundance where I am. Heck, I don't think I've seen a single spider since I've been here.

There's plenty of bears, bison, elk and deer where I am. Oh, and ducks, plenty of ducks.
