Speaking of glory

It just hit me while having a classic drunk convo that I've got more runs than I've hit in a season (18+ games, ignoring one season of Sunday rubbish cricket) since before my knee injury...in 9 games, and am the second highest ranked batsman in my team in T20 cricket with a shot at being the top bat. I've got two 50's in 9 games where I've only once managed two scores of 50 or more in a season of 18+....

I was always potentially destructive once I got my eye in...my top score ever is 137 off 85 balls or so as a junior...but this T20 stuff has made me more of a batsman than I ever was. Gotta retire at 50 in the T20 stuff but I'm suddenly aware I have the ability to possibly score hundreds in the longer game...it's kinda nice, even if I don't get three figures.

I'm in the office, but finished the brochure I was writing copy for within an hour of getting in.

Waiting on my boss' feedback + some inquiries now.
