I was on the other end, looking to buy. Emailed a woman, called her the same day and left a message, same again when the vehicle was still for sale a few days later, no response.
A week after that, and I'm at the RTA swapping over the rego of the car I'd decided on, and she calls.
I explain that I'd contacted her a couple of times a week ago, and since there was no response I moved on and paid someone else for their car.
She has the gall to get abusive about that, accusing me of wasting her time.
So I step away from the counter and simply start laughing into the phone. The abuse continues, laughter escalates. She eventually tires of my giggling into the phone and hangs up.
I laughed the whole drive home.
