$6000! Holy sh*t! That is way too much money for a cat. One of my friends spent $11,000 fixing her cat and when she had a baby (my friend, not the cat), the cat kept attacking the baby and she had to get rid of it. She is very upset at spending that much!

It's not too much. I lost a cat only 8 weeks ago. With him there was nothing I could do. For Ellie there was.

She was my first pet of my own, I got her just after I moved out of home. It would have been much cheaper to just put her down, but now that I know she's ok I hate myself for even considering it.

I could've sent you down my neighbour's cat. She's about 140 years old and I don't think she feeds it anymore
