The actual teaching can be a bit of a strain - especially around exam time or with a full teaching load of new students, but the benefits definitely outweigh the relatively few drawbacks.

I was a very f**king late bloomer. Stupid Catholic upbringing had me thinking I should wait for marriage.

I'm glad I finally shook off that delusion. I've had to make up for lost time since.

I guess, in a way, it was nice (?) to have it be a somewhat memorable occasion. I only dated the girl I lost it to for a few months and, really, she was insane - but it was a much more special (?) moment than awkward, unsatisfying sex at 15 or 16.

If I had my choice over again, I'd have better capitalized on my college years. I was picking up a lot and making excuses. Made it hard to form a relationship in a lot of ways.

Once I got the monkey off my back, I was a lot more confident with girls and have had a lot more luck with them since.
