Is this season being aired in Aus or not? Read a review of the first ep, heard it was a cracker to start off the season. Unlike last season (minus about 3 of them) people were actually playing rather than floating.

Agree with that assessment it certainly was a cracker!

Very good season opener, probably already past last season, some stray notes
-Rob means business this season, loved his shot at Tyson "guys vote xxxxx girls vote ooooo, does everyone understand? seriously last season someone didn't understand and it completely screwed me up"
-Russell's big speech about how he'll play was complete bs, not surprised only few bought it
-Philip I think will rival Coach for the title of biggest lunatic in survivor history

Wow.... massive two weeks of Survivor. Fair play to Ometepe. First time I think I have seen a team use this theory to get some one out- that is throw a challenge. So Russell was sent to Redemption Island, and ended up losing, so this may send away the people who call this show staged.

Ralph is such an idiot. You do not tell the other tribe, or let on that you have the idol. They have the numbers, so they do not need to use it till they need to use it when the tribes merge.

I hope Boston Rob just completely dominates the season now.

Wasn't the first time a tribe has done that, I've watched most seasons and it has happened a few times, that was probably around the 5th time I've seen it happening, and I've never seen it turn out well for anyone.

I also take it 9 aren't going to show this series.

Last time I remember seeing it, it was after a swap, where an original alliance dominated one tribe, but had members on the other tribe in a bad spot, so they threw a challenge to protect their members on the other side.

But what Russell's tribe did there was stupid, Russ didn't have the idol, and wasn't going to get it, so why not keep him around till you actually lose a challenge, there was no need to rush and give Rob's tribe a sniff (even though they are horrible at challenges).

I haven't seen the ads for this season on 9 at all, so I doubt they are showing it, which is unfortunate, it's been a good season so far.

Russell certainly went down swinging though, kind of brilliant really.

I always wondered what would happen if he was voted off. If he would still be true to what he says and admit it was all a game, and move on, or have a sook. I did like how he completely exposed chewbacca, but the extreme sulking was a bit much. I still think one of Russell's old tribe will win (with Boston Rob going first at the merge, no way he will have the numbers, and they won't want to give him a sniff), but Ralph made a huge mistake there, will definitely cost him later on in the game.

Been good, but it seems like Bawston Rawb will walk it in, they are all madly in love with him. Redemption Island has provided some cool moments, but it almost feels like watching a different show with it there, not complaining, it's certainly entertaining.

I want to punch Matt in the face as hard as I can. Seems like a good kid but he is incredibly stupid, and makes Watmough and Bird seem intelligent.

The final and the reunion is next tuesday night, its been a great season. Ive grown to enjoy watching Phillip lol.

I thought the season started strong but died in the arse pretty quickly after the merge. The period in the middle when the Zapatera tribe were picked off was very predictable, and Phillip was the only think keeping it interesting. Having watched the finale online the other day, I won't spoil anything, but I can say it was a good finish.

Took the words right out of my mouth, in saying that though Zapetera (David Murphy excluded) got what they deserved they had no idea how to play the game.

Yeah I watched the reunion, was pretty uneventful, but still entertaining.

Awesome ending, enjoyed that season, Id like to see Russell come back and have another try sometime.
