Yep Royal Republic were awesome man. I rocked up to the Hi Fi half an hour before the doors opened and got a really good spot for them. Full Steam Spacemachine went off. The frontman had a lot of presence up on the stage. Zebrahead were nuts. That was actually their first ever solo *(i.e. non-festival) show in Australia despite the fact they've been around for 10 years. Lots of crowd interaction and bouncing around on stage.

Unwritten Law, despite the fact that the current band members are not the original lineup, were very tight. Couldn't believe it when they played Up All Night and Lonesome back to back early on in their set. Other notable highlights were Seein' Red, Cailin, Rest of My Life, Superman and Save Me. There must have been about a 1000 people there on Tuesday night, the place was packed.

Unfortunately by the time I left all the buses that were heading back to the southside had left and I had to fork out $50 to catch a cab back to my house. Got to sleep by 1am. But I've got no regrets and I would have done it all over again. I don't know a lot of Royal Republic and Zebrahead songs, but after their live efforts on Tuesday night I'll definitely be getting into them a bit more.

Wish I knew that was on before I got tickets to SOAD lol. Still, the DTP setlist is framed on the wall!
Had SOAD/Dillenger on Tuesday. Dillenger don't appeal to me. SOAD were awesome.
Last night had Marilyn Manson (much, MUCH improved from the Soundwave fiasco), Coal Chamber (also much improved, probably best on the night), Wednesday 13 (still great) and Motionless In White (Shite).
Tonight got Kvertalak, Mastodon and Gojira. Looking forward to seeing the latter two to end my week.
Plus five 6:30-3:30 work days on the Central Coast...bit tired...lol.

I quite like Dillinger, would have been interesting to see.

Just got back. What a week. So tired, yet still pumped. Bring on a random tour.
Kvertalak were better than expected, whilst Gojira and Mastodon were both incredible.
