I did no such thing.

Albert is just another Roosters, Pearce and International enthusiast. There are thousands, if not millions of us.

Pretty confused at Westerners backing North Queensland. I thought bogans in commodores and bumpkins in tractors were mortal enemies?

I actually am backing the Kings Cross Reppin Roosters from here on out.

Melbourne are too successful, and I'm sick of it. They're the San Antonio Spurs of RL.
North Qld only just won it 2 years ago, and they shouldn't be allowed to win without their best player. It's just unfair.
And Brisbane is....well Brisbane.

I am supporting Melbourne or the Cows however if the rorters want a rent a crowd then I can be pursuaded with some monetary transactions which the rorters are more than use to and capable of.

Let's face it rorters crowd numbers are under 5000 and that's being generous.

I decided to decorate my Rolls with lovely Roosters streamers and a flag on top. As Jeeves was driving me around the East, some uncouth looking rapscallion in a Souffs jersey gave Jeeves and I the finger. I said "Jeeves, take care we may have accidentally wandered outside the Eastern suburbs. We better turn around."

Well Jeeves is a bit old these days and it took him a while to turn the Rolls around. Some other uncouth looking ruffians in Penriff jerseys joined our rapscallion friend and they started throwing tomatoes at my lovely automobile. So off we went and suddenly I noticed a street sign that said Double Pay. I said, "Jeeves Stop !!. We must turn around and help these poor savages, they must be lost." So we turned around again and as we approached I wound down the window and threw a few coins at their feet. "You must be lost, young men. Here's some coins to get the bus home. We don't allow riff raff in Double Pay, so you better leave or else the police will lock you up. Tally Ho !!". Well would you believe these uncouth savages gave me the finger again ?

Whatever is the rugby league world coming to ? Young ferals these days have no respect of their betters. I must complain to Nick Politis. Tally Ho !!

For a long time, in Albert's earliest contributions to this fine institution, I too was a hater. but I came to see his genius for what it truly is - a dark reflection of Rugby League's own insecurities, insularity and small mindedness.

Albert is the 3rd greatest satirist League Unlimited has ever known.
I'd love to know who's first and second...

Safe to say every Sydney and NSW RL fan is behind the Roosters to take out premiership number 14 and salvage some dignity for the failing state of NSW.

If you're somehow still on the fence (who are these people though??) here are 5 reasons to get behind The People's Team for the next 2 weeks!

1. It's NSW v QLD. Letting those maroon merkins notch up another win on the board is something I know the good people of Canterbury, Penrith and Cronulla won't stand for.

2. It's ARL v SL. Not the first time Roosters have had to save Rugby League and likely won't be the last, and Sydney appreciates it. The fine upstanding fans of Parra, Souths, St George-Illawarra, Manly, Wests, and Newcastle are all behind the mighty tricolours to stick it Ruperts pet clubs once again.

3. It's Foundation Clubs vs Corporate Blow-In "Franchises". 1 team scraped together from the ashes of SL, 1 team who started it, and 1 team who sold out at the first chance. 3 Cheap Americanised mascots. 3 soulless bland entities. Sydney fans respect history. None moreso than Souths and Wests, who will be standing together with their fellow Foundation Club in the next 2 weeks.

4. It's the Good Guys of Rugby League vs the Cheats and Scoundrels. We all know what Melbourne have done and continue to benefit from. We all know the Broncos have brought Rugby League to its knees and continue to abuse it. And the Cowboys have always treated any loss as a conspiracy. These 3 clubs are the Enemies of Sydney Rugby League. Sydney fans won't cop these dirtbags tainting our Grand Final.

5. It's Sydney v The Rest. A win for the Roosters is proof for all of us that Sydney stands tall against all challengers. Proof that Sydney is the one true heartland of Rugby League. Whether they are QLDers, Super Leaguers, Corporate Leeches or Cheats, Sydney will strike them all down together.

Sydney fans rise up for the Roosters!
Where was the establishment when the Panthers needed them? Gould was there at Easts, you'd think he would have tried to help Penrith stay afloat, but no.Penrith had to go cap in hand to the SL mob because the other side didn't want a bar of us,and we were accepted in the 11th hour.My guess is that they (the establishment) wanted Penrith to fold so the other clubs could ravage the juniors like a jumble sale, with Gould and Artherson behind that plot.

And the strange point you make is that you ask Canterbury, Penrith and Cronulla to side with you,and a paragraph after, bag off the SL clubs.

My POV is that this shit is over and done with.If anything,it's the Panthers club, everyone's whipping boy ever since we came into the NSWRL,that is always getting fooked over.Nobody has a right to gripe.

I stand by my tip in another thread were I'm going for Easts because well before all this SL shit hit the fan,I used to go and watch the Roosters and Parra,as well as the Panthers from the early 70's.

So it's the Roosters for me for the title. :)
