I can't say I wasn't nervous about the game when Scotland carved us up in 7 overs to score 89.

It shows NZ's sh*t bowling attack once again. 2 overs from Vettori would probably have done a lot to slow Scotland down, but if NZ bowl like that, we'll be chasing 200+ in every game.

NZ's batting can make or break our tournament. The batting lineup is deep and has genuine hitters all the way down to 10. Nathan McCullum, Franklin, Vettori, Mills, Butler, can all bat competently.

Another cause for concern was perhaps our lack of discipline in the 5th over of the chase. After Scotland dropped Oram and gave up 4, the equation to win was 22 off 16. I know it was a 7-over game, but Oram got out trying to slog out, Taylor almost suffered the same fate.
