meh - whatever ... i don't love union enough to sit here arguing about whether they got a sh*t crowd or not - I just think it needs to be put in perspective

I agree with you Strider. It was a non-event game and the crowd was about right. It's not as if it was heavily promoted or anything, and they were both almost reserve strength teams.
Now, that's perspective. ;-)

5K for a union game played out of campbelltown is plenty.

You don't see many kids wearing union gear out west. Parramatta to Campbelltown strip is the heart of our rugby leagues juniors.

Sorry S14 is exactly like Club League, they have season tickets ffs.

But this wasn't a S14 game, therefore, season tickets wouldn't come into play - or am I reading you wrongly?

Yep.

I have ZERO (well, negative, really) interest in Union and even I was tempted by the prospect of being able to see Tahu again...

Their first two home games (Hurricanes & Brumbies) are almost a sellout at SFS. Don't know why you lot need to bash them whenever their name is mentioned.

No I'm laughing at all the people who like talking up rugby as state v state when it suits them, drawing comparisons to origin, when in reality it's just like going to watch the Eels each week. It's not a bad thing.

TBH if the tickets were a bit more affordable I'd go to a couple of Waratahs games. I follow the force, but it's still a good game to watch.
