I give the points to idris he made tahu look like the rookie. The kid is going to be something speciel tahu does provide some anger out there.

Tahu started strong, got the best of Idris with his feet and ball skills....but brute strength won out in the end. Will be fantastic to see the match up next time now that Tahu has his bearings on Idris.

He's a beast but certainly no footballer or athlete for that matter. Tahu saw no ball in the 2nd half. I would have liked to see Tahu with the ball rather than having to defend against him. If possession was equal T would have wooped him.

I don't think Idris broke the line at all?

We made several raids down his side, and he didn't handle the traffic coming at him.

He DID fend off Tahu a few times, and is a man-mountain to try and tackle 1 on 1.

I think his future is in the back-row though. Just not mobile enough to defend effectively in the centres.

i don't think idris has the ticker to make a good 2nd rower - he can use his size to make an impact running out wide and only making 10 tackles a game, but try and make him work like a 2nd rower and he'd be rooted quicker than a $5 hooker at the cross

That's true.

But put him in the centres and and --> well, it's no surprise that the Bulldogs are one of the worst defensive teams in the comp so far.

He DID run out of energy about the 65 minute mark last night. Vanished for a bit and had a rest for a while.

If he gets fit, the guy is a big unit

Points to Idris just.

I would have liked to see Tahu get some more ball in the second half to even up the score though, I have no doubt he would have. Tahu was good out there last night, put on several big hits.

Was it just me or did Idris not want to run at Tahu for much of the second half. It seemed each time he got the ball he ran away from his winger and back infield thus avoiding Tahu for the most part.

the fact thety were forward down makes me think that he was under coach's instructions to hit it up the middle a bit..
