I judge players on what I see on the field. Not on what they "could be" or what they "once were". Idris is decent in attack, and woeful in defence. He's a young bloke, and has time to change it around (look at what Lawrence did, he is now possibly the best defensive centre in the game, but was a turnstile in his early years), but until he does he's nothing more than average.

At the moment, you wouldn't rate him as a class centre though, rather someone who has the potential to be one.

Class centres eligible for NSW are Jennings, Morris, Monaghan, Croker, Cooper and Lawrence
