The paper this morning said the Knights offer is the same as his last contract, believed to be between $120,000 to $150,000 per season????

Could we offer a better deal????????

Best would obviously come cheaper, so pick him up aswell..

Best is more talented and easier to get. Tahu is looking for a fat paycheck and don't forget, he wants to play centre. Besides, he's the second turnstile along with one M.Gidley. Defensively woeful.

Manly are offering 270 for Mona so we should go for Tahu while they are still talking with Joel.

Tahu is the type of player we really need. Big, fast and can play 4 or 5.

I like McGoldrick!! But Tahu would be a great asset, however I think first things first, we need a decent kicker. For this, I say get DeVere.

I like Zeus aswell. I say tell Tahu he will be 4 then throw him on the wing till Zeus or Nige go down with an injury ;-)

Tahu is not worth much more than the Knights offer. By the way Best has been doing great things for Hull in the UK. He has said he wants to return to the NRL. THe question is where and what club?

I would not recommend throwing more than 175 000 at a winger. If Tahu plays centre you will be worse than now. At least Mc Goldrick can tackle. I would not put money on Tahu making a try saving tackle!!

Just my opinion ok.

As a winger he is head and shoulders above Best.
I'd have him any day. But I think centre is a more pressing issue at this stage
