Best is probably not the answer at centre unless the has rectified his own defensive deficiencies that he exhibited at the Sharks.

I remember several posters used to bag Best umercifully. Funny how the lack of in form wingers makes the heart grow fonder.

duck reality check for those who think Mr Tahu can't defend

Mr Timanu Tahu has a tackle rate of 68/75 in 8 matches. He has missed 7 for a miss rate of 9.4%.

compared to

Mr McGoldrick 186/228 @ 18.42% (14)
Mr Vagana 145/162 @ 10.49% (9)
Mr Rieck 31/37 @ 16.21% (7)
Mr Simmons 57/85 @ 32.94 (13)
Mr Saleh 15/19 @ 21.05 (3)
Mr Merritt 30/34 @ 11.76 (8)
Mr Bailey 71/77 @ 7.79 (5)

wish we had some 3/4s as woeful as Tahu in defence

duck disclaimer: not meant as criticism of any of our boys but golly gee whizzz lets have the blinkers off when making comparisons

Bill posters will be prosecuted - so leave my mouth alone

As a winger he is head and shoulders above Best.
I'd have him any day. But I think centre is a more pressing issue at this stage

I don't know when I'll stop laughing at that one.

I don't know when I'll stop laughing at that one.

When you get a hint of a clue, perhaps?

My standards only slip when its the wrong side of midnight and I've been guzzling rum straight from the bottle.
