This guy is absolutely hopeless. I mean Ando put him in the side because his got "EXPERIENCE" and i believe what he delivers in the game is zero to nil. He is a error machine and slow... Total useless and rubbish! No spark at all.

Why not give a young gun a go in the first grade team. For eg. how dragons brought kyle stanley in replacement for the origin period. How good was he! and sure it was not jst dragons who brought young players in...

Surely if Ando had the guts to release finch den he can give someone a chance at first grade.

Not to mention using the least amount of players in the current season of 22 just shows what the future will be ahead for us , with no-one coming through the ranks.

If we dont start giving future stars of tomorrow a go within our feeder cup side and toyota cup , chances are we will turn into a bulldogs moto "bought not bred!" and also Manly, Sharks and Bulldogs will start shopping!( hodkinson, gardener, green )

Well, firstly, I think Wright is a specialist centre - I don`t think he is a very good winger. He scored a very good try in last years first grade final series - against Canterbury or the Titans? In that series he had one shocking game and then the next week a very good game. I think he`s got a lot of potential. He`s hardly ever played consecutive games in the NRL so he hasn`t got that momentum up. I think you`ll find that if he plays centre for the next four weeks, you might be pleasantly surprised.

He played some very good games at center last season for us.

Oh - and his first game in first grade last year was ordinary. Then followed later on by some good games.

His first game in first grade this year was ordinary - let's hope the pattern continues?

I like the guy as a cheap backup. You can't have an Origin rep playing for Wenty and just waiting for his chance to play top grade when someone is injured can you now?

What an absolute;y rubbish thread...Wright had some excellent games for us last year, especially in the finals (the Dogs game springs to mind, he was outstanding) with no first grade experience...one average game this year and he's "absolutely hopeless"? Lol...short memory or no idea....

He didn't play against the Dogs he played against the Titans and he didn't even play good he scored a try and busted the line. Doesn't mean he played well, his rubbish IMO.

That's why he's 7th or 8th choice in our club for an outside back spot. When you lose players to injury or suspension you have to call on your fringe players whether you like it or not.

I thought this was a thread about Wright, not Tahu...

Very good point.

Sadly, we have nobody else. MAYBE Etu. Or else we'd be relying on making Tim Mortimer or Ken Sio debut, and that's not the best scenario in a game we desperately need to win.

I also think people are a tad harsh on Jono.

He is slowly developing. He will be a satisfactory replacement. He will do a job that the coach gives him.

I like him.

I just can't see anything special in him. I really don't think he is a long term answer however i don't think we have anyone else to step into that role right now so he has to do.

Has hands like feet and a turnstyle in defence..he has never had a VERY GOOD game.

He has had plenty of chances and is just not up to first grade
