You're all class, supercoach. Gameplan: Play with a man down for 50 or 60 minutes. Genius!

You're giving me all the credit my friend. You're the genius. Everyone else on the forum was under the false pretense that I was joking, while you in all your infinite wisdom knew just how serious the division of my tactic actually was tsk tsk tsk.

What was the score tonight Einstein?

Yes, THAT....was more like it!
Shut me up after my 'Whinge and a Gripe' rant.... and Im SO thankful!
Price looks the goods, lots of innovation across the park, brilliant attacking nous, lots of risks, calculated and classy though, not the Brownie era stuff of hit and miss, Amazing positional changes, BIG UPS to MOZZIE fullback selection, youll remember Mozzie showed HUGE potential as a FB back pre bennett days in about 2008 I think...anyway it certainly restored this cynical old buggers faith UTTERLY and COMPLETELY, this was a roller coaster week like no other in a long time...from that gutwrenching game against the Bulldogs, and just 6 days later one of THE MOST SPECTACULAR Dragons wins in a normal premiership game Ive seen for many many years!!!

CONGRATULATIONS BOYS!!!! Couldn't have possibly asked for more!!
SO excited about our season now...Mozzie to Fb!!! Yes!!! Leave him there its a ROCKET!!!
Greene was a tackling machine as was Style, leave Moz at FB and bring VIDOT onto the wing permanently...leave STYLE with COOPS in the centres...and presto theres your GF number 2 in 3 short years!!!

As for the forwards....RIGHT ON!!!
Weyman the king of modern props... Best prop in the world
Merrin, WOW!!!!!!! How old /young is he??? Hes a Young BEETSON!! That step, THAT pass...ball playing prop forward he was like a 5/8 ONYA TRENT!!!
Bubsy simply ROCKED! nice support try brudder!!!
Prior was brilliant!!!!
Young was majestic!!!
Rein was a young terrier with THAT try cant wait to see him and KING do the hooking, sorry FIENY...give the kids a go before King thinks about heading off...
Latimore solid, and i liked all the tough stuff, they started it with the stiff arm on Nights, and Price obviously told them to give it back!! and they did! FANTASTIC old school stuff, FIYAAAHHHH!!! THATS MY DRAGONS!!!!
ahhhhhhh I sleep....... A HAPPY HAPPY man for a long time...best game since WCC!!!:sarcasm:

Correction. You dodged the bullet better than Neo did in The Matrix.

I said it at the time last year, I said it before the game, I say it after the game. Moltzen is a liability, a passenger. No idea why you wanted him in the first place. Unfortunately for us we still have him. He offers nothing.

Congrats on the win, you belted us. Just way too good.

I think you guys really missed Robert Lui and Gareth Ellis, the match was won in the forwards though but I must say Robert Lui is much more dangerous than Moltzen at half. Still a long season the Tigers are a very good footy team, I was just happy to get the win.

It was a great win and one that will shut Benny Elias' cakehole up for quite some time after his carry on on 2UE during the week over Moltzen the Maggot. I can't find a link to the interview unfortunately.

Add Galloway to that but you're right. Lui is three times the player Moltzen is.

Shame he is a wife basher.

I wouldn't say they are a very poor football team. A little dramatic that.

They were missing Galloway, Ellis, lote, and their first choice fullback.

We were also missing key players, which evens it out.

Tigers will be better. Agree moltzen is better at fullback. Too much organising for him at half.
Sheens needs to do something. But the best thing is that I don't give a flying $&@ what he does.

Missing the 8 couldn't happen to a better bunch of wankers.

Good win but not thinking too much of it. In 2009 we flogged parra 37 zip when they were missing hind marsh, Ben smith and a couple of others and next week they beat us. Tigers were pretty poor an had an off night. I'd prefer we beat them at their best.

I remember it well and there's a funny story to go with it.

1988 grand final. Early in the game Ellery Hanley is smashed by Terry Lamb. He's taken to the sideline and the trainer is trying to realign his brain.
Bulldogs are well on top. Tigers need their star back on.
Trainer asks hanley, "What day is it?"
Hanley says, "Tuesday"
Trainer says "close enough, on you go"

From memory they did the same to Miichael O'Connor in the 85 grand final . Dogs by name dogs by nature.

The lolable moment of the 85 grand final for mine....was Graeme Wynn packed in the second row of a scrum, and being penalized for using his melon to block a swinging fist of a Bulldogs player in that scrum. From memory....that penalty was the catalyst for Dogs try as well.

At the end of a game you tend to look at the result but over the course of a season it's the processes that count. And there was so much about last night to be proud of. That was the best Dragons forward performance I have seen in years. And it was every single player.

Seeing Weyman nose to nose with Blair. Latimore belting Marshall. Hunt wanting to to hit someone, anyone. De Belin pulverising Moltzen after his knock on. Some huge hits by Creagh. Inspiring.

Can't wait for the Eagles. There forwards are the next notch up.

Fair enough mate, but it is just the opposite of the over-the-top negativity of the past week. I didn't buy in to that and I won't buy in to this anymore than to say it was a great game to watch.

Get carried away if you want lol, but if you base your view of the club and its individuals on 1 game, you are going to be on a roller-coaster each week, and I certainly dont want our recruitment based on 1 game.

I used to have a view that the first 6 games of a season meant nothing (mostly because we would always lose them and get momentum later in the year), but really.. there are a lot of pretenders early in a season, and its only meaningful if they can sustain it.

Can't afford to be the team who is on one week, off the next.

Was a good win, good performance, but lets put it into perspective - no Ellis, no Galloway (their best 2 forwards), no Lote or Utai.

With the front row they had we should be winning the forwards battle.

Friday just prooved how bad they are without Ellis and Galloway. That letting go Gibbs and Fafita was a wrong call, and that Blair isn't worth $550K.

Well played by us, but we need to be better next week - and without Merrin, Latimore and perhaps JDB - we may struggle.
